Agency Maid-The Agency Maid Rises With the Population and the Modern Norms

By Alice Sy

The population rise and trend seem to be in favor of the agency maid. There are growing numbers of the aged seeking care, there are a growing numbers of employed mothers and finally the population of developing countries has dramatically grown as well. Translated, more women will likely apply to be maids and more employers would hire one. The issue now is, are there enough agencies?

What is rising in the population are the elders in the highly urbanized states and with the population up by more than 5 billion, more people will require someone's care in the future. Housewives will not be there, they are out at work earning money and they will need someone who will, preferably someone from a developing country.

The agency maid can blame it on the Internet that has probably made people desire to log in to their facebook accounts than to do the laundry. The modern generation is not getting any more traditional, loving house chores as women were supposed to do. The agency would love the Internet too since business is easily possible online along with a cellphone, fax and scanning machine and some cheap printer and PC.

The helpers today do outnumber the agencies. In Asian countries alone, there are over more than 200,000 women vying for a domestic job but maid agencies can only be estimated at over a thousand. The number is likely to increase in the future and the employers would not compromise the service of an agency no matter how they seem to complain about some bad service.

The world has gone digital which is in favor to the agency maid, it's easier to promote business and attract clients on a global scale. Now is not the time to fear about lacking business in the future, now is the time to establish a decent and trustworthy reputation to be considered one of the booming agencies in the future.
