Sunrise Aviation, a flight school in Ormond Beach, Florida is approved by the Republic of Panama to train pilots from that country. Sunrise Aviation with its sister concern named as the International Flight Training Center, has been entitled at Panama, from the year 1999, to run flight training courses for students belonging to Panama. Sunrise Aviation hopes to enroll more students from that country and the rest of Latin and south America with an improvement in the general aviation market

Sunrise Aviation has enrolled students from Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, and Brazil and other Latin and South American countries since 1999. In many of those countries, Sunrise Aviation graduates are now flying for the airlines. In some cases, the Sunrise Aviation graduates have secured jobs in other areas of the world such as the Middle East or India where there have been shortages of experienced airline pilots. Hundreds of pilots that have graduated from Sunrise Aviation in Central Florida are now working all over the world.

A strong demand for aircraft purchase in both the corporate and airline segment is seen in the growth figures released for Latin America and South America. This will result in more pilot hiring in those regions during the next few years.
