6 Clues For A Fun Photo Booth

By Kelly Holmes

When having a party photo booth it is best to set it up in a visible location like at the entrance of the party or near the refreshments. By having it in a visible location people will notice it sooner and be more likely to visit it. If the effort is being made to set it up it should noticeable to everyone in the room.

There should be an attractive sign for the party photo booth to draw everyone's attention. It should tell what the purpose of the booth is and any charge that applies. This will allow people to make an educated choice about participating. They are more likely to participate if there are no uncertainties about what's happening.

If there will be a charge the best way to go about it is to charge for having the photo printed rather than having it taken. If it's free to have the photo taken then people will be more likely to get their photo taken since they can choose afterwards if they like it enough to buy it. It may also be fun to have an album printed of all the pictures.

It should be an attractive booth. It should stand out at the party by being attractive or interesting in some way. Getting basic pictures taken it may be good to have a black backdrop, but for a party the booth should have something festive about it.

The booth should have some sort of theme. Having a theme will make the booth more interesting and more fun. Some possible themes include: hats and noisemakers at a birthday party, a romantic theme at a prom, or a baby doll at a baby shower.

The photographer should be excited about their job, be animated, and be social. The excitement the photographer exhibits will be caught by those having their picture taken.
